Voters passed a six-year parcel tax to help Santa Cruz County’s Happy Valley Elementary School District in Wednesay’s election. Measure Q would bring in $61,000 annually for six years to help the school district fund art and music programs, give incentive for current staff to stay and attract teachers in the future.
