(08:40) Monterey County – A recent Assessment of Homeless Woman on the Monterey Peninsula was conducted. The report was done on behalf of the Fund for Homeless Woman. The report revealed that there are around 400 women living without shelter between Marina and Carmel. The report also showed that 40 percent of the homeless people in Monterey County are woman, over one third are between the ages of 51 to 60 and 14 percent 61 or older. The full report is 45 pages long and includes recommendations of how improve the homeless issue in Monterey County.
