A 58 year-old man was struck and killed while crossing a Santa Cruz street last night. The 8:30 p-m accident occurred on Front Street near Laurel, when the Santa Cruz man looked one way and then ran westbound trying to cross Front Street. The person driving the car that struck him, and the person who’s vehicle he was thrown under, both remained at the scene and were cooperative with investigators. The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
