A 39 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing several thousand dollars worth of damage to a city elevator in Watsonville. James Thunder is believed to have used a torch lighter to damage the elevator, and ripping out the elevator’s electrical box in the parking garage on west beach street. Thunder was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
