A man, who allegedly threatened 2 Monterey County Supervisors, faces 3 counts of making annoying telephone calls. 57 year-old Peter Channing Wells called Luis Alejo and Simon Salinas, and left messages that they “should be put up against the wall and shot” after the pair proposed lowering the voting age. Wells has maintained the messages are “political speech” and not threats. Wells is due back in a Monterey County Court Room February 14th for his arraignment.
