Investigators executed a search warrant at the Watsonville home and murder case site. On Friday police enter the residence on Lawrence Avenue, prompted by tips of drug sales to juveniles. 26 year old Eli Gutierrez, who is a suspect in a murder investigation for a shooting death during a robbery attempt at the home in 2018 is now accused of illegal cannabis sales.
