UPDATED: SCCO Businesses & Restaurants Get Outdoor Options 06-03-20 03:00 DC dated wed

The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors yesterday unanimously approved a plan to give restaurants and businesses new options for providing outdoor dining and shopping experiences to their customers.

Businesses in the unincorporated area of Santa Cruz County are eligible and must seek a simplified temporary permit from the County Planning Department.

The application and a self-certification form will be available online at https://www.sccoplanning.com. The free, 180-day permits will be issued electronically with the possibility for an extension. Permit fees are waived through the end of the year.
