UPDATE: PSPS Poss Today (Wed.) 10-14-20A 03:56 S.S.

Of the 54,000 P.G. & E. customers that could be impacted by the possible Public Safety Power Shut-offs this time, those in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties are in Cluster 2….and that Cluster could have the power shut off between 8 p.m. tonight, and 10 p.m. Friday night. If the power is shut off, there will be 3 Community Resource Centers set up in Santa Cruz county, and 1 in Monterey county. Social Distancing protocols will be in-place in these centers, and masks are required.  If power is shutoff, the agency expects to restore most customers within 12 daylight hours AFTER weather conditions pass.
Portions of the Santa Cruz and Big Sur mountains are the highest probability areas on the Central Coast.
