Due to an explosion on Monday, a portion of a Gilroy road is still closed. The explosion occurred in a home on Mantelli Drive, and the road is still closed between Rancho Hills Driver and Learnard Way. A 53 year-old man, who was living in the home, suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area Trauma Center for treatment. The cause of the explosion is still being investigated.
