Two Seaside women will be sentenced next month on charges of attempted murder, arson, elder abuse and robbery. The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office says 35-year-old Jennifer Vasquez and 20-year-old Victoria Ramirez began harassing a former boyfriend and his mother and grandmother in 2015.
The harassment eventually included a beating, arson, and threats aimed at the older woman who was confined to a wheelchair. Sentencing will be February 11 and the two women face a maximum of life in prison.
