Last light, about the same time a spy satellite was expected to be launched from Vandenburg, a strange trail appeared in the western sky. Many believed they saw the satellite launch, but that had been delayed and was later postponed until 5:31 PM today.
What did people see that got many so excited? Pending a better explanation, weather forecasters believe is was a meteor entering the atmosphere and likely burning up. Another possibility is a piece of space junk returning to earth and burning in the atmosphere
