(14:33)SANTA CRUZ- A strike may disrupt services at UC campuses on Tuesday. The systemwide strike in support of administrative, clerical and other support positions coincides with the first day of classes. A spokesperson for the Teamsters Local 2010 says the workers are underpaid to the extent that 70 percent suffer from hunger or food insecurity, and that wages have decreased by 24 percent over the last 18 years. UCSC officials say the strike will not effect classes.
