(11:55) Salinas – Salinas Police are looking for the man who attempted to rob an ice cream vendor. The victim was pushing his cart northbound on Rider Avenue when he was confronted by a man who pointed a small black revolver at him and demanded money. After the victim handed over some cash, the man struck him with the gun. The robber ran to a car that was waiting for him and fired a shot at the victim. The victim was not hit. Police are looking for a black Honda Civic four door with tinted windows. The robber is described as having a thin mustache and was last seen wearing dark clothing.
