A San Jose woman has been arrested after she rammed a park ranger patrol car and then led deputies on a chase. at about 7:00 PM, a ranger attempted to confront a woman seen driving erratically in Rio Del Mar. The women, 35 year old Shelly Vickers, reversed her car and ran into the Ranger’s vehicle. A Sheriff’s Deputy was driving in the area and saw Vickers speed off after hitting the Ranger’s car. Vickers did not pull over when deputies turned on their lights and sirens. She led deputies on a short pursuit which ended when she crashed into a fence in the 300 block of Rio Dell Mar Boulevard. Vickers was arrested for multiple charges and taken to the County jail where her bail is set at $15,000
