In Pacific Grove, the famous pier at Lovers Point Park has been temporarily closed. Pacific Grove police today (Wed) said the pier is closed due to a minor repair needed on the stairway leading down to the pier.
The city said the repair will be completed as soon as possible. It also warned the public that King Tides are expected this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and encouraged caution near the ocean.
