(18:00) MONTEREY BAY- Communities around the central coast are under high surf advisory. The National Weather Service issued the advisory for most of Northern California including the Monterey Bay through this morning (Friday). Swells as high as 14′-16′ are expected with occasional wave heights up to 20 feet. Beach goers are advised to exercise caution.
