(10:00) Monterey – Police reported that the two children who said a man was trying to lure them into his car was a fabricated story. On November 14th around 1:30 p-m Police investigated a report of an attempted child abduction at the Monterey library on Pacific Street. The Monterey Police Department would like to remind parents and the public to educate their children on the severity of reporting a false crime.
