A boy drown after being swept off the rocks near Moss Landing on Friday. The child was knocked into the water by a wave at about 3 p.m., a Coast Guard helicopter and rescue vessel searched the waters while a Cal Fire drone scouted the coastline for the boy. The child’s body was recovered at about 5:30 and transported to Watsonville Hospital where the coroner pronounced him dead.
