(08:30) SALINAS – A Salinas elementary school has received the Gold Ribbon School Award. Monte Bella Elementary received the award for its innovative practices. The award was created two years ago by the California Department Of Education to praise programs and practices that help improve student achievement, and can be easily replicated by other schools.
