(13:30) Santa Cruz – Save Our Shores and Alta Organic Coffee & Tea Company have teamed up to launch a special coffee blend dedicated to local coastal protection. Save Our Shores and Alta Organic Coffee & Tea Comapny are officially announcing their partnership and the availability of a specially roasted Save Our Shores Ocean Blend to protect the Monterey Bay coastline at a community open house. Caffeinate For The Coast will coincide with the Westside Farmer’s Market in Santa Cruz. Attendees will enjoy samples of the Save Our Shores Ocean Blend and live music. Proceeds from the Save Our Shores Ocean Blend will support the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Caffinate for the Coast will be from 9am-noon this Saturday at the Alta Organic Coffee and Tea Company, 2712 Mission Street, in Santa Cruz.
