A Funeral mass has been scheduled for a fallen soldier from Salinas. The remembrance of U.S. Army Specialist Ricardo “Rick” Cerros, Junior, is set to be held at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday. The mass will be held at sacred heart catholic church, (which is located at west market and stone streets, in Salinas). Cerros, who was 24, was a 2005-graduate of Everett alvarez high school. He was killed on Saturday, October 8th, when his unit was engaging enemy combatants in afghanistan’s Logar province.
