Smart Solutions to Homelessness, a community-based initiative committed to reducing and ending homelessness in Santa Cruz County, is hosting its second annual Community Recognition Event this weekend The event celebrates the achievements taking place in our region to address homelessness. It will focus attention on the efforts being done throughout Santa Cruz County and recognize those individuals and groups making this vital work happen. Keynote speaker, Assemblymember Mark Stone will speak on the issues. The event is Sunday from 3:30 – 5:30 pm at Twin Lakes in Aptos.
