(11:46) SALINAS- An alleged teen gang member was arrested in Salinas on Friday. Shortly before 9 p.m. police began to contact a group of young males on the 900 block of Acosta Plaza. One of the teens fled the scene and a foot chase ensued. During the chase the juvenile pulled a firearm from his waist band and threw it on top of a building, before being apprehended at gunpoint. The 17 year old was booked into juvenile hall. A loaded 9mm pistol was recovered, and was found to be stolen.
