(18:50) SF Bay Area – Seagate Technology plans to cut 65-hundred jobs world-wide over the next year. The hardware manufacturer, best known for making PC hard drives, said it’s all part of a restructuring and “footprint consolidation”. The announcement came just days after the company’s advisory (on June 27th) that it was eliminating 16-hundred jobs around the world.
