A Local pet-advocacy group has been chosen to receive a grant from the organization The Coastal Dog Owners Group. The 850-dollar grant for the Friends of Santa Cruz County Animals, is expected to be used to fund its spay and neuter program. That program helps subsidize the cost of those procedures, for residents of santa cruz county who need financial assistance.
