(8:20) SANTA CRUZ – A Santa Cruz organization is now accepting submissions for its annual photo contest. Save Our Shores is seeking pictures showcasing the beauty of local beaches, including Natural Bridges, Elkhorn Slough and Point Sur. Photos shot on cameras can be emailed to photos@saveourshores.org with #MPAmondays as the subject line. Pictures taken on phones can be posted on social media, also with #MPAmondays. All submissions must include the Marine Protection Area that the photos were captured at. The winners of the contest will be announced in the spring. (S.G.)
