(08:58) SANTA CRUZ – The organization Groundswell Coastal Ecology is seeking volunteers to help restore Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz. Individuals are needed to volunteer from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays. Duties include restoring the dunes and cliffs, removing non-native plants, and planting native plants. Volunteers will meet at the west end of the beach, past the public bathrooms. Participants are encouraged to bring weeding tools, gloves, a hat and water. (S.G.)
