(08:29) SANTA CRUZ – A recent drug bust in Santa Cruz resulted in the arrests of four men for conspiracy and sale of narcotics. The joint operation was conducted by the Santa Cruz Police Neighborhood Enforcement Team and Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team. During the operation, four suspects sold methamphetamine and heroin to undercover officers in San Lorenzo Park and by the east river levee of the San Lorenzo River near Riverside Avenue. 46-year-old Rafael Saldana, 41-year-old Juan Gonzalez, 59-year-old Benjamin Kirkley, and 37-year-old John Pitts were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
