Citizens concerned about the many changes to California elections this year you might wish to attend a discussion this Friday night in Santa Cruz. Appearing and answering public questions will be Secretary of State Alex Padilla along with Santa Cruz County Clerk Gail Pellerin.
The event – free and open to everyone – takes place this Friday at 7 PM at the Rio Theater, 1205 Soquel Ave., in Santa Cruz.
State Natural Resources Secretary John Laird will moderate the discussion.
Recent changes to California elections include the top-two primary system and same-day voter registration. Many voters have also expressed concern over the potential for coming elections — or some part of them – to be disrupted by hackers.
