A 21-year-old castroville man has been found guilty of driving under the influence causing great bodily injury. Zeferino Francisco matias was also convicted of multiple related crimes, in connection with the accident in may of 2008, that left his father severely injured. The wreck occurred on Nashua road, in (salinas), when matias drove into the back of a tractor. He is expected back in a Monterey county courtroom on October 18th, for a sentencing hearing.
