Capitola residents get set for some traffic delays and possibly unpleasant odors.
Beginning Monday, the sanitation district is updating the sewer system around Capitola’s Jewel Box and surrounding streets. Motorists can expect delays due to lane closures between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30 Monday thru Friday. This project is expected to last one year.

Wharf Road, Cliff Drive, Stockton Avenue, 45th Avenue, 47th Avenue, 48th Avenue, 49th Avenue, Crystal Street, Emerald Street, Garnet Street, Jewel Street, Opal Street, and Lincoln Street, in the Jewel Box area of Capitola
