(18:05) SALINAS- Monterey County authorities have released the identity of a man killed in an apartment fire in Salinas Saturday morning. The fire broke out shortly before 10 a.m. in an apartment complex on the 200 block of Harvest Street. 20 year old Brandon Arenas, who had unspecified disabilities, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s siblings were able to escape the blaze by jumping out a window, one brother was treated for a broken leg. No other injuries have been reported, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
