(19:20) SALINAS – Several residents at Salinas residential care facility ordered closed last week refuse to leave. On August 21 California Social Services has suspended residential care at Colonial Manor on Williams Road, citing recent citations of client neglect. The facility has had 190 citations since opening in 2012. Social Services joined with the Department of Health to relocate 40 residents, however as of Wednesday five residents refused to move to alternate housing. Colonial Manor is providing staffing as long as the clients remain on a voluntary status. The facility is appealing all citations, a hearing ahs been set for October 2nd.
