The State Coastal Commission announced yesterday that they’ve set a date to rehear the city of Santa Cruz’s Arana Gulch case. The plan is scheduled to be heard toward the end of the commission’s 1st day of hearings which begin at 9 a.m. on August 11th at the San Luis Obispo Government Center. The city was asked to provide more information to the commission about possible alternatives to the plan for paving twin bicycle and pedestrian paths through the 68-acre greenbelt.
