4-monterey county school districts have been awarded state grants to help fight tobacco use. Salinas union high school, north monterey county, and pacific grove unified school districts are set to receive 45-hundred dollars each. Washington union school district was awarded just more than 13-hundred dollars. The “Tobacco use prevention education grants” were given by the California department of education.
