A townhall meeting is scheduled to be held Monday evening in Salinas. It’s about the city’s West Area Specific Plan, that includes 44-hundred homes in 4 new neighborhoods. The 20-30 year project also includes 5 schools and 11 parks. The city hopes to receive official approval of the 800-acre project in August. Monday’s Townhall meeting is slated to begin at 6 p.m. in McKinnon Elementary School.
