SALINAS – 2 people were injured in 2 separate shootings in Salinas this morning. Around 4:15 a-m, a 33 year-old Hispanic man suffered a non-life-threatening injury to his arm, when he was shot while riding in a car at the intersection of East Alisal and Griffin Streets. 5 hours later a 25 year-old Hhispanic man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen. He was listed in critical condition. Anyone with information about either of these shootings is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
