Wildfire Update 09.14.2020 0540 2 JS

The Dolan and CZU Lightning Complex fires are continuing to affect Monterey Counties.

The CZU Lightning Complex fire containment is at 89%, with over 900 people remaining under evacuation and over 7,600 structures remaining under threat. Winds have remained light, making favorable conditions for firefighters, and over 86,000 acres have burned.

Ash and smoky conditions remain present in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and several customers remain without power as Pacific Gas & Electric works around-the-clock to restore utilities.

As for the Dolan Fire, over 117,000 acres have burned with containment at 40%.

Evacuation Assistance Centers for victims of the Dolan Fire can be found at the Monterey Conference Center and King City Library.
