Two Watsonville men were arrested on Wednesday for drug charges. A month long investigation by the DEA and Santa Cruz County law enforcement ended when officers served search warrants at homes on Locust Street and Airport Boulevard. Over a pound of methamphetamine and $40,000 in cash were seized during the raids. 39-year-old German Alvarado and 28-year-old Hector Vaca were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on drug sales and conspiracy charges.
