A solo crash hospitalized a passenger with serious injuries Monday afternoon. The incident took place at 12:30 p-m, when 47 year old Maia Cahill lost control of her truck on Trabing Road near Watsonville. The truck left the roadway and overturned landing on Northbound Highway 1. A 51 year old male was transported to a Salinas trauma center. Cahill was booked into Santa Cruz county jail on suspicion of DUI.
