Water Pipes Flown From Boulder Creek 09-08-20 15:45 DC

Eighty-eight large surface water collection pipes were flown by helicopter from downtown Boulder Creek to the water treatment plant earlier today (on Tuesday).

Fire destroyed more than seven miles of piping valued at $11 million in damages.

Last/Monday night a majority of the Do Not Drink and Do Not Boil orders were lifted in the water district. HOWEVER, there are still 300 homes without water and 500 included in the Do Not Drink orders.
