Calling for a vaccination appointment? Be prepared for a long wait.
Two of the state’s largest healthcare providers; Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health are overwhelmed with phone calls and internet inquires for the vaccination… kaiser is warning callers they could wait up to four hours. Sutter’s website crashed because of the huge demand.
The demand comes following the decision earlier this week to open up vaccinations to those 65 and older eligible to receive the shot.
