4 families were displaced by yesterday’s Salinas apartment fire. The blaze broke out just before 2 p-m, in a bottom floor apartment at the Laurel Tree Apartments. One apartment was destroyed, and the other 3 mostly suffered smoke damage. One person was injured when she tried to gather her belongings.
