(16:04) SANTA CRUZ- UCSC will be the recipient of over 528 thousand dollars in grants. The monies are from the National Institutes of Health within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases awarded UC Santa Cruz 77,000 dollars to be used for allergy, immunology, and transplantation research. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases awarded UC Santa Cruz 451,116 dollars to be used for diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolic research.
