Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 3 carjacking suspects Friday morning. The incident started shortly before midnight on Thursday, when the victims of a 2 week prior carjacking spotted their vehicle and began following it in the Watsonville area. The carjacking suspects fired at the pursuing car. A short time later the suspects opened fire at a pursuing deputy on Green Valley Road. The suspects were apprehended after an extensive manhunt near Corallitos at about 9 a.m. The suspects are facing multiple charges including attempted murder.
