A transient has been found guilty in an attack on two women in Santa Cruz. The incident occurred on Beach Street in July 2013. Officials say 26-year-old Joey Patino Hernandez, chased the two women and attempted to sexually assault one of the victims. Hernandez was arrested and charged, but, until recently, was not competent enough to stand trial. He faces time in prison when he is sentenced on July 8th.
