Monterey City Council members are expected to consider a more restrictive version of rent control when they meet tomorrow. Currently they ask landlords to put a voluntary cap on rent increases. Now the city wants feedback on whether they should create an actionable ordinance. This portion of the virtual city council meeting is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
