Work has begun on the remodel of Scotts Valley Middle School. That’s because the federal permit was granted Friday for a habitat plan that protects the Mount Hermon June Beetles on the site. The school’s new library, and classrooms, are now slated to be built near the intersection of Scotts Valley Drive and Bean Creek Road.
