Scotts Valley City Council members will consider approving a loan tomorrow to help pay for an affordable housing project. Habitat for Humanity is expected to request a $300,000 loan from the city’s Redevelopment Agency to help fund the project. The project, which has already been approved, involves the construction of 3 3 bedroom townhomes on a 10,000 square foot site on Blake Lane off of Scotts Valley Drive. The loan would be used to begin construction work, however additional funding is expected to be raised to complete the project.
