A Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputy returned a stolen vehicle to its owner Saturday night. The officer spotted the vehicle in a secluded part of Watsonville. The vehicle was not reported as stolen, however the deputy was able to determine the owner had no idea that vehicle was not where he last left it. With the assistance of the Watsonville Police Department, police were able to return the car to it’s rightful owner.
